Bachelor of Science (Honors) 1977 Credentials in Teaching 1978 High School Teacher 1978-1980 Kathleen grew up in Malaysia & Singapore , and is an alumnus of the National University of Singapore. She speaks English, Mandarin, Foochow, Hokkien, Taiwanese, Cantonese, and Malay.
A Bay Area Resident since 1980 , she is married with 3 sons who are alumni of the Saratoga School District (Argonaut Elementary, Redwood Middle) and Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint High School District (Saratoga High), Stanford University, Harvard University & The California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
Kathleen's belief that each child deserves a good education propels her involvement as a classroom aide, in the Elementary & High School PTA, School Site Councils, Education Foundations, University Alumni and Community Groups .
